As someone who is naturally short and has very few eyelashes, I have taken a lot of steps to make them longer.

I’ve tried many brands of eyelash growth serums, but it doesn’t work! I had taken advice of a friend’s recommendation of a brand eyelash growth liquid, the lashes did become longer but dark circle is becoming super serious! Yes it’s the side effect of growing eyelashes.

Crawling out of this hole of eyelash growth liquid with blood and tears, I want to tell you, whether it helps or not, I don’t recommend it!

The more obvious the effect, the more careful!

If you buy a particularly effective real eyelash growth solution and you can see a noticeable increase in lash length within a week or two, I am very serious and say don’t buy it! It probably contains the following ingredients that can make your eyes red and dark circles worse.

The ingredients is called Bimatoprost, a drug originally used by an American pharmaceutical company to treat glaucoma, has been found to have a side effect of lengthening eyelashes.

The ingredient was then used in eyelash growth liquid and was later found to produce a series of adverse effects, such as red and itchy eyes, blackening the skin that comes into contact with the eyelid, exacerbating the usual dark circles, possibly permanently darkening the iris and, in the worst cases, causing eye inflammation and vision loss.

Those well-documented big brands are OK. Now there are still some small vendors selling all kinds of homemade eyelash growth liquid, or claiming to be a big beauty brand, but in fact they are unqualified products, which is really terrible. Not only the composition and concentration are unknown, but there is no accountability for problems.

If you see an eyelash growth solution that claims to work in 1-2 weeks, don’t buy it! If you’re already using it, or even experiencing the obvious side effects mentioned above, stop and see your doctor!

Apart from Bimatoprost, most of the eyelash growth serum in the market is for the purpose of nourishing, accurately speaking, it should be called eyelash repair liquid or eyelash nourishing liquid.

Official descriptions of their efficacy also emphasize repairing, strengthening and moisturizing damaged lashes, without any promise of rapid growth or lengthening.

The main ingredients in this category are plant extracts, vitamin E and, better yet, peptides. Acting like a conditioner, the purpose is to give lashes sufficient nutrition. But whether the eyelashes can absorb we don’t know, barely can moisten the moisture.

Others add Vaseline, wax, or adhesive to it, which acts like mascara to make the lashes look thicker and give the illusion of growth, which is a bit unfair.

The more complex the ingredients, the easier it is to cause irritation to the eyes, and if the nutrients are too sufficient, there may be fat grains around the eyes. I think it is rather weak, almost no effect on eyelash lengthening, in short, I will not recommend.

Genes determine the length of eyelashes, which, on average, are about a third of the width of the eye. If someone with longer eyelashes, their eyes are also bigger.

So the safe way to lengthen your eyelashes is to use cosmetic fake strip eyelash (mink eyelash factory) or eyelash extensions (eyelash extension trays wholesale). But too long eyelashes also easy to bring dirty things into the eyes so don’t greedy over lengths.
